YouTube Shorts Blocker is a Firefox extension that completely removes YouTube Shorts from your browsing experience. Once installed, all Shorts-related content is hidden across every part of YouTube, including the homepage, search results, the sidebar navigation, channel pages, and the Shorts player itself.
If you navigate directly to a /shorts/ URL, you will see a full-screen block page instead of the video, with a button to return to the YouTube homepage.
The extension includes a simple popup with an on/off toggle, allowing you to temporarily pause the blocker without uninstalling it. Your preference is saved locally and persists across browser sessions.

Privacy
This extension collects no user data whatsoever. The only data stored is a single boolean (enabled: true/false) saved locally in the browser using browser.storage.local. This value never leaves the device.
