Doesn't seem to work in private windows any more.

However the reason for 3 stars is that when a video/channel is blocked, you have to have the overlay enabled for it to actually be blocked. If I disable the overlay, then "blocked" videos/channels still appear in my suggestions. I just want them completely removed

Sadly doesn't seem to be working with the channel blocker anymore on the homepage :/ I've tried both using "@channelname" and even the link way doesn't seem to work either.

Doesn't work in private browsing even when set to allow in private.

Though blocking is fine, it just creates a whole lot of mess on the pages. Especially search pages are simply lists of blocked videos. I would rather have them removed.

The Extension is working just perfect, but when you restart your browser ( mozilla firefox ) the extension vanish ( its still installed, but not working ).

as of 5/17/2025 the extention doesnt seem to be working properly, videos themselves arent immedialtey being blocked and the channel seems to still be reachable

edit: they also dont seem to have a support tab that i can easily find

The display 'Overlays' in the settings I hadn't understood correctly, my apologies and thanks for pointing that out to me. It seems to work and I'll play around with it a bit and report here if/when I get the blank gaps you mention

What about block content button (appears when hover over thumbnail or something similar)

I wanted to get rid of every video made after 2009 but the damn thing only lets me get rid of videos made a number of days ago, and that number doesn't go up by 1 every day. Meaning after 1 day of use, I have to manually add 1 to the counter every day for the rest of my life. I dont wanna do that. JUST GIMMIE AN EXTENSION THAT SHOWS ME VIDEOS WITHIN A CERTAIN DATE RANGE FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!

Channel block no longer works. Video block still working

Love the addon but wondering if I'm missing an option to remove the "block/unblock content, block/unblock channel" from the ... menu? If not, please add.

A very, very useful addon. Especially after his colleague Bloktube stopped working. Now YTBlock is the only protection for my children from tons of video garbage.
There are problems - for example, YouTube search results are not completely cleaned by keywords. And some channels cannot be blocked by keywords, despite their name being directly indicated in the keywords.
But all the same - a huge thank you to the author, his work is extremely useful.

A fantastic and vital add-on which has everything you want from a YT content blocker. I tried a number of blockers before, and this one is the best I have tried yet. It has one feature that I've never seen before: it shows you on the page that it blocked something, and why it blocked it. You can turn this "overlay" feature on or off, which I really appreciate. I am very grateful for the person who developed this tool. If you are reading this, thank you!
