Edit: I did a bit of research, seems like you can add this behavior by adding the options for "," or "." with values "Comma", and "Period" (as an example if you add this two characters), those are the words Firefox understand for the "key combinations".
Edit 2: I was hoping that your extension was open source, what a joy to find that it was, I've been reading the source files and I think I've found a simple way for adding this functionality, I might be doing a pull request on these days :), hope it comes useful, thanks for your work!
Edit 3: I opened an issue and did a pull request for this change :)Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 2 añosHi! I'm sorry about the inconvenient of the "full stop" (or period) and comma. I've merged your contribution, although I've a bit improved the code. In the new release (3.21.1) you can find the new shortcut!
Thank you very much for your helping - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Siwkann, hace 2 años

publicado el hace 2 añosHi! The emoji shown in the addon is "Twemoji" (font family). When you use it in the browser or on your O.S., it's shown with the OS font family. It's not an issue of the addon.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience! - Se valoró con 5 de 5por § ΛRAKYRIE [A.F.], hace 2 años

- Se valoró con 5 de 5por pnhan, hace 2 añosIt's easy to add emojis that you frequently use directly from Firefox without the need for external tools.
Thank very much!! - Se valoró con 5 de 5por cprn, hace 2 añosEDIT: It's kinda perfect now. You press the shortcut, start typing, double tap enter (or tap once, then tab to select emoji, then enter again), and you've got the emoji in your clipboard. 5/5 stars, IMHO.
Works okay but isn't keyboard users oriented. The number of possible shortcuts is limited, you can set it e.g. to ctrl+shift and any letter or any digit but you cannot set it to something like ctrl+shift and a period or space or comma. After typing in your search phrase there's no option to copy the first one after pressing enter - you have to press enter twice because it assumes the users will more often use the arrow keys or mouse to select exact emoji from the grid than improve their search phrase. Those are minor issues but still, issues.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 2 añosIn the new release you can use also Period and Comma 😊
About the Enter: yes, you have to press twice the Enter button because it focus on the first emoji, then you can navigate in the selection with arrows or press again Enter and, in that case, you insert the emoji selected.
Maybe I can add an option in Settings like "From searchbox, the Enter button selected directly the first emoji shown" - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Marjon, hace 2 años
