I have long appreciated the extension for its work to create inclusive spaces for trans people, but this is clearly not your goal any longer. Calling people transphobes or terfs for talking about the transphobia that they themselves experience is ridiculous, and so is silencing intersex voices in the same way. You allow people to use words like “theyfab” or “tenderqueer” to blatantly make fun of non-binary identities, but trans men saying that they experience transphobia is enough to be marked red? Intersex people talking about their struggles is supposedly transphobic? Are y’all not ashamed?

Works as advertised, but noticing a concerning increase in abuse by users and mislabelling people as transphobic as a means of bad-faith argument. I would encourage both devs and users to reflect on what this extension was made to represent and achieve, rather than weaponising it.

Was a good extension, and then it started to show a clear bias against those who talked about intersex and transmasc people. It's a shame that something that used to be a really good tool is used in such a negative way.. really sucks.

Loved this when it came out and was very usefull in identifying transphobes and terfs. now this extension is fundamentally useless as many trans people and intersex people are being flagged as "not trans friendly" based on arbitrary reasons such as discussing intersexism, and trans-masc struggles. this app is now only useful if you hate intersex people, and trans-mascs

Went out of my way to defend this extension when it seemed like people might have been misunderstanding how it works & using that as reason to conclude the developer was using it as a weapon in intracommunity discourse... only to find out that they're literally in the reviews hashing out that exact same discourse in real time.

Whatever. I can look past some cringy behavior as long as it isn't crossing over into the actual functionality of this tool.

So question for the developer: are you actually taking any use of "AFAB trans women", regardless of context, as reason for flagging someone as anti-trans? Are you taking someone's dislike for the term "theyfab" as reason for marking them anti-trans? Where is the line, exactly; not for you personally, but in the moderation of the extension?

started finding more and more trans people marked as red, discovered it was not because of terf attacks, but because the people behind the extension are intersexist and transphobic themselves. oh, and look, they're in the reviews arguing with people! fantastic. don't waste your time with this extension. it's garbage.

A once pretty great add-on that is now useless for it's main purpose, seeing that red "transphobic" label is being erroneously (or perhaps even purposely by the devs) attached to intersex people, people advocating for intersex rights, trans-mascs, and even some of the trans advocates this add-on claims to help platform.

Unless there's a massive change in ownership (assuming this concept is even worth humoring) you'd be better off just reading up on potential dog-whistles and looking into the accounts yourself, as apposed to letting this biased add-on tell you who it thinks is worth listening too.

Not only is this extension being used to target intersex and some trans activists, but the developer has been making incredibly intersexist responses to reviews. Policing the labels that intersex people use to describe themselves is completely unacceptable and absolutely shameful from someone claiming to want to create a safer online space for all trans people. Using a label for yourself that fits your experience does not "force" anyone to label themself a certain way, as the developer says. The developer has also likened intersex activists to TERFs because of labels they are using FOR THEMSELVES to describe their personal experience. I am uninstalling this add-on and will be advising friends to do the same. I only hope the developer reads this and decides to educate themself on intersex issues and how their actions have harmed an already oppressed community.

Used to be decent. But while the developers claim to support intersex people they are ignorant and bigoted and have not educated themselves.

I read the developers responses to some recent poor reviews and wanted to respond. the existence of afab transfems does not force any trans person to use their agab. Using amab or afab is a personal choice. No one is owned someone's assigned gender. It literally feels like a lame excuse to mark intersex queers as anti trans.

People who have not been marked red before are being marked red when they post about intersex and transmasc issues. The responses to other comments aren't actually explaining whats happening proving the creator doesn't actually care about it.

Extension is prone to misuse and has started marking trans friendly users and transphobic which makes this extension basically useless to its purpose.

Incredibly transphobic extension, does not work as described.

Was never one to take SE at face value without looking into someone myself but its clear at this point the extension can not be trusted. Its blatantly being misused and the people running it are actively harmful to the community they claim to protect. Several openly transphobic and intersexist positions have been championed by them and I can no longer support this app in any capacity, as a trans woman.

Unfortunately has become completely useless do to intersexist and transmasc-exclusionary moderation. None of us are free til ALL of us are free.

This was good right up until the creators decided that they don't want to understand intersectional feminism, which is deeply disappointing to see. Come /on/.

this was pretty good a while ago but now people get marked red for talking about issues affecting transmasc and intersex folks. also seen a lot of green names being hateful towards transmasc, intersex, and nonbinary people. at this point the extension is mostly just useful for identifying people who talk about gender sometimes

Claims to highlight the difference between transphobic and trans-friendly social pages, fails to do much more than mark people who are vocal about trans issues. Consistently falsely marks trans and intersex people as transphobic for discussing their existences. Feeds into intracommunity divides and has lost any use it has. Only bother to use this extension if you care about whose vocal on trans issues AND you want to do the leg work for yourself to see if they're actually transphobic or not.

This extension has become so useless. People will be marked red for speaking about intersex and transmasc issues while green users will spout the most transphobic shit possible.
