I've used uBlock Origin for several months. It's great, and does what it's supposed to. However, the new version seems to have an odd effect when a user tries to download videos with certain downloader add-ons. I use Ant Video Downloader, and the new version of uBlock seems to not filter out empty download links on Ant as the older versions did, so when you try to download a video, uBlock doesn't filter the links so that only the direct video link is visible. This problem probably also occurs when uBlock is used with similar one-click video downloader add-ons.

На ebay.com не дает переходить по ссылкам, не дает выводить результаты поиска. Даже если сайт в "белом" списке и uBlock отображается как неактивный. В остальном все хорошо, с рекламой справляется. Пока попробую откатиться на версию помладше

ps: на предыдущей версии проблем с eBay не наблюдается

It's a really great add-on. I love it. I wish the latest version works on Android but it does not. I am going to go to GitHub and write that follow up.

Very good and useful add-on - no question about it. Keep up the good work! But tweaking its settings is not what I'd call intuitive... E. g., I cannot figure out, however I tried, which filters I should disable (or enable) to be able to watch videos on Huffington Post website(s). I can watch them only when I turn off uBlock completely, but then I see a lot of ads as well...

Raymond, can you please give me a tip on how to leave uBlock on and still be able to watch HuffPost videos?

I've been using UBlock for ages and was fully satisfied. Now, Firefox label this add-on obsolete and deinstall it regularly.

Usually very good. Works like a charm.

Then on the other hand. Strange hickups after automatic updates.
Right now version 1.14.8 stopped working with Firefox 56.0b8.
Deinstalling, installing. Nothing helps. The icon disapears from shortcuts bar and no settings are available. No adblocking at all.
Had to go back to version 1.13.8 (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/file/685614/ublock_origin-1.13.8-an+fx+sm+tb.xpi)

Any idea what might be the problem? How to solve this?

I greatly value ability to selectively block web fonts with NoScript (AFAIK, uMatrix has no option to specifically block only webfonts on all sites by default). Unfortunately, after installing uBlock 1.14.4, it's fonts (image fonts in control popup) were blocked by NoScript… This didn't happen with older versions. I had to revert to 1.13.8 for now.
