So as usual with Mozilla when an update or upgrade happen and it messes up my extensions or web pages I have to sift through each add-on just to see which one is giving me the problems and lo' and behold it's this one. I've been using this for several years and never had any problems until now. I appreciate these add-ons but I wish everybody would get on the same page when it comes to upgrades and updates because when one happens it always messes up the other and vice versa.
I also noticed that Pandora won't play unless I turn this off. I never had that problem before. I have down graded this add-on and is still getting issues. I'm guessing I need to find something else because I'm tired of having to disable this just to get something to work when I never had to do this before. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 14744078, hace 6 años

I actually did my own pseudo "code review" (more like search) of some modules, and for those crying IP, please stop. Do your research, or your own investigation as to the reasoning for such a change. I can't bump other reviews, so I decided to quote another reviewer here with good information (with some non-information items removed):

For all of you ... giving the plugin 1 star because you saw a notification about your IP/hostname being collected, you really should try doing ... research prior to ... accusing the devs (who have invested THOUSANDS of hours of their time and expertise for absolutely FREE so that we can have increased privacy, security, and convenience) of being sellouts and corporate lackies. ... the changes in permissions are for the purposes of providing MORE security/privacy and allow the plugin to prevent sneaky advertisers and tracking APIs from using a technique that allows them to cloak their hostname, thereby bypassing certain protections. You can learn more in the uBlock Origin release notes which discussed it at length or just search "uBlock Origin cname uncloaking". ... uBlock Origin is NOT collecting YOUR IP address or hostname. The permission warning is referring to the IP address/hostname of sites you VISIT, not your own. ... uBlock Origin has to have access to that info since it is filtering advertisers/trackers based on that data..."
edit: Thank you Devs (RHill) for keeping up the great work!
