This extension does exactly what it says and exactly what I want. Perfect for minimising distraction but also for cleaning up YouTube for data projection.

I am no longer addicted to youtube and the experience of watching without distractions is just so much better

ahh... finally! the cure for youtube's psychologically engineered demonic evil plan plot to destroy the minds of the sane individuals without their knowledge while also making financial gains by letting them scroll infinitely through their unrelated recommendations thats supposed to give you curated videos for your data that you consented to let them collect for personalized ads and recommendations(By redeveloping your brain into being a political drama addict in denial refusing whats happening but still wants more).

Must have youtube annoyance blocker addon.

Very nice, but some things still need to be ad-blocked by hands. Hope Devs improve settings to remove/set-up more blocks as in main page, as well as in search results page!

I seriously wish I thought of looking for this sooner. I get very distracted on YouTube due to the algorithm, and all of the recommended videos all over the place. Sometimes I just want to turn it all off without being tempted to add 10 videos to my "watch later" playlist. Thanks a bunch! I will donate when I can.
