PURPOSE
This extension automates watching Twitch streams so the user can collect Twitch Drops without manually keeping streams open.

HOW IT WORKS
1. The user enters one or more game names in the popup.
2. For each game, the extension opens a background tab to the Twitch directory page for that game, filtered to Drops-enabled channels.
3. A content script picks a live channel from that page and navigates the same tab to it.
4. The stream tab is set to the lowest quality and muted at the browser level.
5. A separate periodic check reads the user's Drops inventory page to see progress.
6. When a game's drops are fully collected (or the campaign expires, or no one is streaming it), that tab is closed. When all games are done, all tabs close.

TAB BEHAVIOUR
All tabs are created with active: false and muted via tabs.update({muted: true}). The code never calls tabs.update({active: true}) or windows.update({focused: true}), so the user's focus is never stolen. Tabs are tracked by ID so the extension only ever touches tabs it created itself.

PERMISSIONS
- tabs: open, mute, navigate and close the background watch tabs
- storage: store user settings (game list, enabled state, options) locally
- alarms: schedule periodic stream-status and inventory checks
- host permission for twitch.tv: content scripts read the directory, channel and drops inventory pages

DATA HANDLING
No data is collected, transmitted or shared. Everything lives in browser.storage.local. There are no analytics, no remote endpoints, and no external requests other than normal page loads of twitch.tv.

SAFETY
A master ON/OFF switch in the popup halts all activity: alarms are cleared, observers disconnected, timers cancelled and all watch tabs closed. Every entry point checks the enabled flag before acting.

The code is plain JavaScript with no build step, bundler or minification — the submitted files are the original source.
