ABAIR Léitheoir Gréasáin (Web Reader) reads web pages aloud in Irish using high-quality voices from ABAIR.ie.

FEATURES:
• Multiple reading modes: select text to read, read the full page, or navigate paragraph by paragraph
• Real-time highlighting: follow along as each sentence is read aloud
• Regional Irish voices: choose from Connemara, Donegal, Kerry, and Waterford dialects (7 voices)
• Adjustable playback: control speed (0.5x–3x) and volume
• Keyboard shortcuts: fully keyboard-accessible (Alt+P play/pause, Alt+R read selection, Alt+F full page)
• Works offline: falls back to browser speech synthesis when needed

• Designed for users with visual impairments, dyslexia, cognitive fatigue, or ADHD
• Screen reader compatible with ARIA labels and live announcements
• Colorblind-friendly highlight presets
• Respects system preferences for high contrast and reduced motion

PRIVACY:
• Only sends text to ABAIR.ie for speech synthesis
• Never sends page URLs
• No tracking or data collection
• Local-only mode available (browser speech synthesis only)
