Sobre esta extensión
Claude Themes restyles claude.ai with six hand-tuned retro palettes and lets you pin a different palette to each project.
Tabs stop looking identical — you glance at the color and know which project you are in.
The tab-color pitch is the headline. If you run two or three Claude projects side by side, context-switching by peripheral
vision is faster than reading URLs. Open the popup on any project, pick a palette, and that URL remembers its color. The
next tab can be green, the one after that CGA magenta. Unbind any tab with one click to fall back to your default theme.
Six palettes ship in v1.1:
• Amber — IBM 5151 monochrome, the original monitor phosphor
• Green — DEC VT220, terminal workhorse of the 80s
• White — paperwhite, Macintosh-era high contrast
• CGA — IBM 4-color, cyan + magenta + black + white
• CRT — full shader: scanlines, vignette, phosphor bloom
• Synthwave — hot pink and cyan on deep violet, 1984 in a browser
Plus a "vanilla" opt-out variant that disables the extension's styling without uninstalling.
Pro tip: hit F11 for browser fullscreen — the BBS chrome takes over the whole monitor and you're back in 1987.
The VT323 bitmap font is bundled locally (SIL Open Font License 1.1). No font download on first run, no FOUT.
Privacy: zero network activity. Zero telemetry. Zero analytics. The extension reads no page content, no messages, no
credentials. It stores only your chosen theme and a small map of per-project bindings, locally via chrome.storage.sync.
