The browser extension only reads the current tab content so it can analyze the page you are viewing. The extension stores chat sessions locally in your browser unless you clear them.

Store chat history, attachments, watchlists, alerts, and comparison state when enabled by your membership

1. Browser Extension Data
   The CribMetrics browser extension may request access to the active tab, page content, and tab metadata in order to analyze the page you are reading. The extension also stores settings, membership state, chat sessions, saved markets, alerts, and optional uploaded file metadata in your browser profile.

You can clear extension chat history and remove attachments from the extension UI at any time. If you uninstall the extension, locally stored extension data is removed from that browser profile.

1. How We Share Information
   We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We only share data with service providers necessary to operate the Service:

OpenAI - for model processing of page context, messages, and uploaded content
Stripe - for secure payment and subscription processing
Hosting and infrastructure providers - for application hosting, storage, logs, and database operations
If you use the chart rendering feature, chart configuration data may be sent to QuickChart so the chart can be rendered as an image in the extension.

1. Data Storage and Retention
   We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the Service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Specific storage may include:

Membership records in our database
Subscription and billing records handled by Stripe
Chat history and settings stored locally in your browser extension profile
Limited server logs needed for security, debugging, and abuse prevention
You can delete local extension data from the browser extension UI or by uninstalling the extension. You may also request deletion of server-side account data where applicable.

   We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information, including encrypted transport, access controls, and minimal data retention practices. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
