Whitelisted the site, reset the website to use its own darkmode, and everything works great again.
One point I bring back from my previous 3-star review: "this extension is my go-to plugin for every system I use Firefox on". Really, I value a good dark filter over ad-blockers. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 20134359, hace un mes

The only downside is a bit higher resource usage than I'd like but it's bearable on my more modern systems. Mobile and lower end devices? Dark Reader makes the browser chug.

I made a userscript that highlights certain text on a page, but DarkReader keeps overriding my high visibility colors (neon yellow, magenta, cyan, etc.) with neutral versions of these colors. I tried to be slick and added 'darkreader' class to my style element to trick the extension into thinking that it is its own style and ignore it, and it worked! But now I found out that DarkReader deletes all its styles on websites that already have dark theme, including my own style.
Is there any way to make DarkDeader ignore certain CSS styles or rules? - Se valoró con 5 de 5por ArseniosTs, hace 2 meses

I had previously tried the Dark Mode by Bernard extension but was frustrated because it was either everything on or off. It was not easy to whitelist webpages and more often than not websites end up looking weird with dark mode applied to them. But this extension lets me set the site list to inverted listed only so by default it is off and only on for specific domains that I add. That's perfect for me because I would much rather add the few sites I actually want dark mode on than exclude every site where I don't like it.
