Impressive level of control over YouTube. My favorite feature is forcing it to a specific resolution. YouTube lately has been quietly downshifting your video resolutions by default to save themselves bandwidth.

4/5 stars because this doesn't include a feature (That I have found) for quick and easy YouTube downloads. Would be an awesome feature to add.

Very handy extension and less sketchy than Magic Actions IMO. There is one long-standing bug that is annoying though -- if you have automatically expand player and use available space based on window size enabled, when you open a video in a new tab that function doesn't work. It just uses the default YouTube theater view. Going into miniplayer and back fixes it but it's annoying. Otherwise no big complaints.

Nie jest taki zły,pozwala trochę dostosować na własny sposób które klawisze się przydadzą,ALE od około tygodnia i dłużej nie mam dostępnego automatycznego rozwijania opisu filmów,oraz w moim przypadku opcja ,,nie zapobiegania auto-odtwarzaniu dla list odtwarzania nie działa gdy korzystam z publicznych list np. z muzyką,w prywatnej liście działa nawet bez tego dodatku.
Osobiście bym się cieszył gdyby ta opcja tyczyła się ,,wszystkich" list odtwarzania,i auto rozwijanie opisu gdyby wróciło.

I've been using this extension during years. But now I am facing a problem that pauses videos after for a while. Do I only person who faces this problem

"Automatically expand the videos descriptions" causes page to scroll down when opening a new video constantly multiple times during playback on every video. It started with FF 128 and hasn't gotten any better with FF updates.

As of 7/22/24, every time I start a video, the option "Automatically expand the videos descriptions" auto tabs multiple times throughout a video, usually within 2-5 seconds of starting playback. It auto highlight the entire description body, and will randomly jump back down once manually scrolling back up. Turning this feature off stops the issue from occurring. Otherwise, this extension has been a necessity for my browsing habits.

Great! Please add an option to disable the built in 2x speed when you hold your spacebar / mouse down on the video! It breaks 360 videos completely :)

I really like this extension, but two things don't work:
- the icons in the toolbar don't appear (the three dots don't appear)
- the anchored image in the top left corner when I scroll down the page (don't appear)
And this only happens when I open a youtube video in a new tab (which is the way I work).

In the current tab: everything works.

In a new tab: both issues appear.

This has always been the case. (this is not related to the new version of Enhancer f YT recently released).

Note: I use Firefox portable from portableapps.com, version 127.0.2, but the issues already existed with successive previous versions.

J'aime beaucoup cette extension, mais deux choses ne fonctionnent pas :
- les icônes de la barre d'outils n'apparaissent pas (les trois points n'apparaissent pas)
- l'image ancrée dans le coin supérieur gauche lorsque je fais défiler la page vers le bas n'apparaît pas.
Et cela n'arrive que lorsque j'ouvre une vidéo youtube dans un nouvel onglet (ce qui est ma façon de travailler).

Dans l'onglet actuel : tout fonctionne.

Dans un nouvel onglet : les deux problèmes apparaissent.

Cela a toujours été le cas. (ce n'est pas lié à la nouvelle version de Enhancer f YT récemment publiée).

Note : J'utilise Firefox portable de portableapps.com, version 127.0.2, mais les problèmes existaient déjà avec les versions antérieures successives.

Is it open source?

The best enhancer for YouTube ever! But we need more control panel buttons like zoom/magnifier, step forward/backward, 90° rotation. And we all need a video filter that works without running permanently in the foreground of the video. Please add this functions and i will give all five Stars for your Work. 😘

The last 3 versions are no longer compatible with Waterfox, not even the newest G6 release.

However version 2.0.121 still works normally!

Works for the most part. Doesn't work when you open video on a new tab, reload page, reopen closed tab.

Thanks for the update. Hiding chat is working, except it leaves a black box where chat would be.

For the most part it is great to hide latest horrible Youtube redesign and to bring back functions like frictionless plalist/watch it later use without having to go back and reload the page. But it feels it does something to the video itself and while watching i can feel video looks different than when add-on is not enabled. And it also messes up home page layout and there is no setting to fix it (i see only 2 videos in a row instead of 3 with my size of browser window).
