I really love the idea behind this feature, keeping translations offline is great for privacy!

My only complaint is that it doesn't support Chinese, Japaneese, or Korean (which would be my primary use case). If you could please add these language packs in the future, or allow users to send the text to an external application to be translated, that would be awesome!

I've been trying to use, but it sometimes doesn't present any translation. When I've tried to flip languages, the word is duplicated and is presented the same for both languages. I've tried with: english, portuguese, and french. It wasn't a good experience.

bs. Says translations are offered by FF, except they are not. So i installed this extension for selected text. Not only do you, have to tediously select the language, it doesnt even work.. How is the giant Mozilla not able to make a simple extension

It has NEVER worked for me. I am now on FF 122.0.1
And internet searching for problem, results in "problems with PRIVATE browsing" - well, I DO NOT USE private browsing.

Technically, it works. However, it requires a little modal pop-up that doesn't stay open if you accidentally click elsewhere. Also, it does not auto-detect the source language and it doesn't remember your preferred destination language. It feels like a toy add-on made by an tinkering junior developer, not a serious translation add-on by Mozilla themselves.

Needs polishing currently TWP works way beeter than this one, for example if you tranlsate and want to see original, you have to reload the page with this one, where as in TWP its a single click . at this stage its quite not there

Mostly useless extension. Entire page translate works only with auto-detection and if site for ex in English but contains content in a different language (linkedin with a job description on Spanish) you can't trigger translation by yourself, you still need to copy text to different place manually.

please support English to Chinese, begging you
