FitcationHQ Trip Builder — Extension Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the FitcationHQ Trip Builder browser extension handles your information. It forms part of, and should be read together with, the full FitcationHQ Privacy Policy at https://fitcationhq.com/privacy_policy/.

WHAT THE EXTENSION COLLECTS AND TRANSMITS
The extension sends data only to FitcationHQ's own service, and only when you choose to use it:
- Saved places (website content): When you highlight a place on a web page and add it to a trip, the extension sends the text you selected and the URL of that page to your FitcationHQ account, so the place can be saved to your trip. You can review and delete your saved places at any time from the extension.
- Account and authentication data: To connect the extension to your account, you paste a one-time code, which the extension exchanges for access tokens. These tokens are stored locally in your browser and sent to FitcationHQ to authenticate your requests. Your FitcationHQ password is never entered into or stored by the extension.

WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES NOT DO
- It does not read, monitor, record, or transmit your general browsing history, or the content of pages you do not explicitly act on.
- It does not collect your keystrokes or passwords.
- It does not track you across websites or use your data for advertising.
- We do not sell your personal information.

PERMISSIONS
The extension uses minimal permissions — activeTab, scripting, contextMenus, and storage — and runs its on-page features only when you invoke them via the right-click menu or the toolbar button. It communicates only with fitcationhq.com.

HOW YOUR DATA IS USED AND SHARED
Saved places and trip settings are used to organise your trips and generate your itineraries. When you generate an itinerary, relevant trip details may be processed by FitcationHQ's third-party AI and mapping providers as described in the full Privacy Policy. We do not share your data with advertisers.

DATA RETENTION AND YOUR CHOICES
You can delete individual saved places from the extension, and you can disconnect or remove the extension at any time, which stops further capture and clears its locally stored tokens. For access, correction, or deletion requests, contact admin@fitcationhq.com.
