Version 2.0.0 is a major update. Everything still runs locally on your device with no telemetry or remote code.

This release adds a toolbar popup with weekly protection counts, link warnings for clicks, hovers, pasted links, and short links, navigation blocking for family blocklist sites, shopping mode, 48-hour after-scam protection, a Grandma preset for easy setup, Fastmail and Tutanota webmail support, and plain-language scam tips when reading flagged emails.

It also improves trusted websites, the family blocklist, strict mode with caregiver PIN, settings backup and export/import, and detection for gift-card, crypto, and smishing scams.

Current Issues
We're aware that sometimes the "Possible Scam" or "Likely Scam" highlighter will not show up properly, we are working on a fix for this.

Version 1.0.1 improves project transparency by providing the complete MIT-licensed source code and reproducible build instructions. Browser permissions, privacy practices, and protection behavior are unchanged. This update adds no telemetry, remote code, analytics, or data collection.
