Riccardo Chailly conducts the National Philharmonic Orchestra and Ambrosian Choir, with leading singers Sherrill Milnes (Guglielmo Tell), Luciano Pavarotti (Arnoldo), Mirella Freni (Matilde) and Nicolai Ghiaurov (Gualtiero).
