Scam addon. Honey brides websites to pay them fees, so the website can gain control over which coupons honey will show (not good ones, or no coupons at all).

They also mislead consumers to click the extension, regardless of if coupons exist or not, so honey can run scripts to steal the affiliate link of the purchase and earn commision. There's even more to say, but shady and disgusting practices in every respect.

This should be illegal and your plugin should be removed from the store. Disgusting parasitic business practice. Developers belong in prison.

Honey is literal fraud. It steals commissions from affiliate links even if it doesn't provide any value to the sale, while at the same time NOT looking for all available coupons. It scams affiliates and partners, consumers, and stores all alike.

Scamming people out of revenue just to line your own pockets. I will never EVER use Honey again, and I will make sure to let everyone I know how awful they are. (I work in tech. RIP)

Actively scams users and influencers, stealing money from both while acting like it's helping them. Literal fraud

I used to use Honey and I don't think I ever benefited from it once because it never felt like generating a coupon code that worked for me. Now it was exposed as a scam - essentially scamming content creators who give their audience affiliate links for products and taking the money from the link for themselves by changing the affiliate link from the creator to Honey. This steals every penny from a purchase and gives it to Honey instead of the person who was supposed to be supported. Stop using Honey, or if you do use Honey, apply the working coupon codes and then close out of the site and revisit it with the original affiliate link. They don't deserve a penny.
