In addition they get their money from taking commission on your purchases, stealing money from anyone who actually refers you to a product, and they do this regardless of whether or not they provided you with a coupon or not.

When Honey pops up at checkout, and say they have coupons for you, and you click on it to check for coupons, it replaces the cookie of your favorite creator with their own stealing the commission.
