It is harvesting your personal data, and it steals affiliate links from creators to take credit for your purchases, and all that money goes to Paypal Inc instead.
On top of that, it rarely ever even finds any coupon codes.
Uninstall it now. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 18744112, hace un añoThis is a SCAM now. Companies pay them so they can control what coupons they show, you do NOT get the best deal. For more info search a video named" Exposing the Honey Influencer Scam"

- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Xenroth, hace un añoDo not use this addin, it steals all affiliate links by redirecting them to paypal instead of the original affiliate and even doesnt find you the best coupons but only the one the store they are partnering with approved to them. So its not even good for that ... just use the common websites finding coupons and you are better off
- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Rockett, hace un añoSince installing it I have seen a grand total of 0 discounts. After doing some research it seems Honey override affiliate links off everyone else screwing over content creators you click links on to buy things (if you do that).
Honey seems worthless and makes money off of your purchases despite doing nothing. They need to actually partner with sites and offer actual discounts or go out of business. You can find better coupon codes for websites you buy from manually, skip this add-on. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Henri, hace un añoHoney takes credit of the sale at checkout from an affiliate link (even without providing value) as long as the user interacts with their pop ups. This even happens when closing a notification where they identify no coupons.
Honey claims to provide the best coupon deals to users without users having to search for discounts manually. Counter to its value proposition, the extension allows their business partners to set the coupons that appear through honey. This may mislead the user into believing they've purchased an item with the best discount when in reality, they were disincentivized from finding the best discount themselves.
