I've had Honey for about 6 months and so far I've gotten no discounts.

I like the idea of this addon, but seems to slow down your browsing experience. Which would be fine as you can just disable it and re-enable it as needed, but the reason for the one star and me uninstalling it is because none of the codes ever work.

Great concept, but it will slow your browsing experience. I started experiencing freezes and lagging and after a few weeks I uninstalled it. My browsing experience afterwards has been much better. Would try again if this issue was resolved.

I spent hours trying to figure out why Firefox was so slow, then eventually I was disabling all my add ons one at a time, and once I disable Honey my speed jumped right back up. Love what this does, but I can't live with the slowness.

The concept is wonderful, but I'm afraid it consumes a heavy amount of processing power as it delays my ability to seamlessly browse the web.

I try to buy prints at Walgreens, I put in my good discount code and then "Honey" pops up and replaces it with a less valuable code and there is no way to go back and eliminate the bad discount. "Honey" sucks.

I've had this for months and it hasn't given me a single code that has actually worked to save me anything. I shop online frequently on sites such as Amazon, eBay, SportChek, and more. While this add-on has great potential, I've found that it's currently nothing but useless and annoying. It just keeps popping up and wasting my time whenever I go on a shopping site.

This is the best money and time saver ever! Place your order in your cart on any shopping site and they Honey pops up and asks you if you would like it to search for coupons. It only takes a few minutes and instantly you havea discount that you were not expecting. It almost always finds a discount code, sometimes the site doesn't have one or Honey would always find one for you.

It's works wonders! I like it a lot.

Sounds like a good idea. However, in signing up I kept being asked to provide my email address. Which I did, correctly, over and over. I'm no longer surprised when something on the internet is just aggravating.

The Corel paintshop program that I was interested in was originally $99.99; it was on sale via Corel for 79.99. Even on sale it was a little out of my budget. I thought about Honey and clicked on it to see if anything would happen. I paid a total of $50.99 with the help of Honey!

This plugin was able to save me a ton of money with coupon codes that give you discount on products you order. stuff like pizza, restaurants, shoes, clothing, any online store it will challenge coupon codes and tells you which will work which wont. :)

Installed after seeing a friend's positive experiences with it, and did a little testing to see what it could save. As far as saving money goes, it works quite well for several popular sites.

Immediately after installing, however, the performance of the browser slowed to a crawl. Changing tabs took forever, loading tabs took twice as long, and anything relying on a plugin (Flash, Java, other) would hang the browser and the entire computer for as long as 5 minutes. I tried closing tabs (I usually run with two windows and 120+ tabs open), but this had no effect. I'm running Mac OS, so I pulled open a terminal and ran top, sorted for CPU and RAM, and found nothing increased from prior to the install. I then cleared all temp files, disabled all plugins (Honey, Noscript, Self Destructing Cookes, uBlock Origin, and Tab Counter), and then enabled them all one at a time, leaving Honey for last.

Enabling Honey reduced the performance of the browser immediately to a crawl, and disabling it immediately restored the performance.

Between the privacy implications of the plugin (http://www.novatexsolutions.com/blog/v/honey-is-watching-you/) and the performance issues, I will be at least leaving the plugin disabled except while checking out. If I continue to have performance issues, I'll just uninstall it entirely.

How did I not know of this before?

This saves me money often on Amazon by telling me that another seller has a lower price. And, I just saved $20 on a print order with Shutterfly! (That's like a 40% discount.) Just click on the Honey button and it looks for available coupons. Wow!
