They also replace affiliate code cookies that track who directed you to a website with their own, so they claim credit for your purchase and deny affiliate commissions to creators that you support. This browser extension is genuinely a scam. Google your coupon codes, it'll be so much better for you in the long run.

this extension is a SCAM and steals money from companies and creators.

Originally uninstalled this because it was intrusive, even when it didn't have any codes, and it never found a single discount while I was using it. Now I understand why.

Honey removes creators affiliate links to replace with its own, even if it doesn't find any sales. Plus the whole thing where they allow companies to control what sales show up so you're not actually getting the best deal. This operation is fraud.
