When you doing something like hijacking a user's browser to show them some ad, you've just joined the dark side.
Plus, I've noticed it not working that well. I still see plenty of annoying "Hey! We use cookies" popups on sites. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 17567606, hace 4 añosNot a fan of Avast taking over. Not a fan of spawning a new tab which is basically free marketing. Boo

So I deleted/removed this Add-On.
As for why,
I don't trust Avast. Their "antivirus" gets always loaded as bloatware. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por bloodninja, hace 4 añosWhelp another addon sold out to another company. I don't blame the author but no thank you. This plugin will slowly turn into some marketing tool with a bunch of useless features. Uninstalling this ASAP.

I highly doubt a company that makes its profit based on collecting user data is a good owner for an extension that is supposed to protect us from data collection and targeted ads...
I am uninstalling it ASAP. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por gamerz651, hace 4 añoswow! youtube doesn't load videos anymore with this addon.
--> i really think that hide a cookies message is not the best solution, i prefer accept automatically a cookie message better than hide a cookies message, it is what the name of this addon means, isn't it?
for me "i don't care about cookies" = "accept them"
and NOT "don't answer the question and hide it..." because this leads to bugs... - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Johnny, hace 4 añosThat's pretty much the first extension I always install on any browser. This extension is a must-have to automatically reject all cookies without having to manually reject them one by one and saves a lot of time. It would be great to have it as an extension on Android!
EDIT: it has been bought by a company that will collect and sell your data. Too bad. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por emiliano, hace 4 añosI don't trust Avast. Now i use "I still dont care about cookies"

C'est non seulement super pour nous prendre pour des vaches à lait ! Je vous conseille I still don't care about cookies !
Avast je vous 👎🏻 dessus ! - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Micha, hace 4 añosI don't understand why there is an addon that automatically accepts all cookies instead of automatically refusing them. Of course many people don't understand and don't care about cookies but developers should encourage understanding of data protection instead of undermining it. I find this sad and upsetting.

publicado el hace 4 añosHey Micha... first of all, it doesn't do what you described. In the vast majority of cases it just hides/blocks cookie pop-ups from appearing. When you see the extension actually accepting something, in most cases it accepts only what's necessary for the website to work properly (to load videos or tweets, to enable logging in etc). When possible, it rejects all cookies. If accepting some or all cookie categories is needed or if it doesn't make sense to choose cookie categories (ie, because it would take too much of user's time), the extension will accept multiple or all cookie categories. Hope everything's clearer now :) Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 4 añosPlease send more details/examples to author@i-dont-care-about-cookies.eu, I'll be happy to check. Thanks!- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Roman, hace 4 añosI don't understand where it gets the 4.6 stars it has now. I have not it seen work once. Every new website I visit, even if that's something mainstream like a newspaper whose website I haven't visited before, always shows me the cookie prompt.

publicado el hace 4 añosThere may be different reasons for that. Maybe the extension doesn't work on your side for some reason. Or you use private browsing but you didn't let this extension to work in it. Or you have some other extension interfering. Or you really visit websites the extension doesn't cover yet. There are tens of thousands of different cookie warnings, and many websites change theirs too frequently and make it more difficult to remove the pop-up easily. Feel free to report those websites properly (via the "report" link in extension's menu) or by writing directly to author@i-dont-care-about-cookies.eu. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Thany, hace 4 añosWorks very well. But it breaks asus.com.
EDIT: too bad about it be acquired by a shady untrustworthy company that has complete and utter disregard for user privacy, security, or safety. Horrible, hooooorrible decision.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 4 añosAsus.com will work soon. When you're on that site, please use the "report" link in extension's menu (next to the address bar usually) - you'll see then that I have already checked it and prepared a fix :) - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 16982844, hace 4 años
