IKEA Price Compare Extension
A browser extension that compares IKEA product prices across different regional websites. When viewing a product on one IKEA regional site, the extension fetches prices from other regions you've selected and displays comparisons with real-time currency conversion.

Usage
Navigate to any IKEA product page (e.g., https://www.ikea.com/cz/cs/p/...)
The extension automatically detects product pages
A comparison box appears below the price showing:
Prices from all your selected comparison regions
Converted prices in your local currency
Potential savings (or extra cost) for each region
A "Best" badge on the cheapest option (if cheaper than current)
Links to view the product on each regional site

Configuration
Click the extension icon in your browser toolbar to open the settings popup:
Select regions - Check the regions you want to compare prices between
Select All - Enable all available regions
Reset - Return to default regions (Czech Republic, Poland, Germany)
Note: At least 2 regions must be selected. When you visit an IKEA product page in one of your selected regions, prices from the other selected regions will be shown for comparison.

How It Works
Detection: The extension detects when you're on an IKEA product page by checking the URL pattern
Extraction: It extracts the product ID from the URL (8-digit number)
Fetching: It fetches the same product from all other selected regional IKEA websites
Parsing: Prices are parsed from each region's page
Conversion: Exchange rates are fetched from the Frankfurter API and from @fawazahmed0/currency-api
Display: Comparisons are injected into the page, sorted by price (cheapest first)

Troubleshooting
Price comparison not showing
Make sure you're on a product page (URL should end with an 8-digit number)
Verify the current region is in your selected regions list
Check that the product exists in the compared regions
Try refreshing the page

Exchange rate unavailable
The exchange rate API might be temporarily unavailable
The extension will still show the foreign prices without conversion

CORS errors
The extension requires proper host permissions to fetch cross-origin content
Ensure the extension is properly installed with all permissions granted

Privacy
This extension:
Does not collect any personal data
Does not track your browsing history
Only makes requests to IKEA and exchange rate API when you visit IKEA product pages
Stores your region preferences locally in your browser
