How effing stupid this is. It blocks the video, but leaves on the audio? What's the point? Hello, videos usually come with audio.

Great replacement of the old extension. Seems to work very well!
It might be good to have some settings to decide what happens when pressing the button, to have an option to disable or enable just by clicking in the icon. In mobile Firefox (Android), it's a bit annoying to enable and disable because instead of having a tick, it opens a page to enable or disable the images...

The only one that I found working after trying many others. If the icon changes to indicate the image blocked / unblocked state, it would be better. Five stars for functionality.

excellent. Not only does it work well, it seems to be the only plug in to do so. I have tried several and videos continued to play.

It says "requires newer version of Firefox (at least version 48.0)" but the latest version that I can find is 47.0.2.

The icon is hardly visible with some themes. Otherwise it functions as intended.

Missing shortcut to turn it on/off quickly

Works as advertised, but it's a pain to have to navigate through layers of menu to turn it off and on.

No tool bar menu to quickly disable/turn off pics and/or video? Really?

I'm kind of shocked that in 2017, I have to open a FF extension page and click in tiny boxes at the bottom to control the plugin.

If it isn't already in the roadmap, I would urge the developer to please consider taking a queue from uBlock Origin and write a simple toolbar drop-down menu to control the functionality of this plugin, it will make it worth using.

Sometimes it loads images even though i blocked them!

Also an interface when clicking on the toolbar button would be more effective.

i changed to 4 starts, add option from icon to on-off blocking

A quick test of a simple web site caused no change when configured. The page loaded totally normally and displayed all visual content in spite of the addon's advertised behavior.

useful extension

I tried this specifically to block videos that play automatically on Yahoo! because they severely degrade browser performance. Unfortunately, it does not work with Yahoo!, which is the only site I have tested this with.

It does what it says it does, and it does it well. The only thing I'd like changed is for the button in the window bar to open a menu that allows us to quickly adjust settings, instead of taking us to the add-on manager where we have to then also scroll further down.

Good
