Imagelator Browser Extension — Privacy Policy

This extension is a client for the imagelator.com image-translation service.

What we access:
• Your imagelator.com session cookie — read only, used so the side panel shows who you're signed in as and so tasks are attributed to your account.
• Images you explicitly right-click or paste a URL for — uploaded to imagelator.com for translation. Not shared with third parties.
• User preferences (target language, UI language, API base URL, notification toggle) — stored in storage.sync.
• A short list of recent task IDs — stored in storage.local.

What we do NOT do:
• No telemetry, no analytics SDKs, no fingerprinting.
• No cookies from any website other than imagelator.com are ever read.
• No images from pages you browse are accessed until you explicitly trigger a translation.
• No data is sold, rented, or shared with any third party.

Network: The extension only communicates with https://imagelator.com (plus http://localhost:6701 if a developer manually enables it in settings).

Retention: Local caches are cleared when you uninstall the extension. To delete data associated with your Imagelator account, visit https://imagelator.com/dashboard.
