WHAT CHANGED (since v2.5.76)
- Bug fix in src/background.js, checkChannelMetaChanges(): per-channel category/title change alerts (an opt-in feature, off by default) now compare against the last announced value instead of the previous check, require two consecutive matching readings (at least 20 seconds apart) before announcing, defer instead of drop a change confirmed during the 5-minute cooldown, and discard changes that happen while Do Not Disturb, a channel mute or notifications-off is active. Only extra fields in the existing local storage record (_channelMeta) were added.
- Developer test page (html/test.html, hidden behind a key) updated for the new flow.
- What's New banner and Release History text updated in 14 languages.
- No new network requests, no changes to content scripts or data handling.

PERMISSIONS
- No new permissions. No new host permissions. Data collection permissions unchanged (required: none, optional: technicalAndInteraction, as in v2.5.75).

DATA / PRIVACY
- No remote code. Unchanged from v2.5.76.

HOW TO TEST
1. Follow a live channel on kick.com, open the popup, click the tune button on its card and enable "Category or title changes".
2. When the streamer changes category, one notification "Old → New" appears after about one to two check intervals. No second, reversed notification follows.
3. Open the popup after updating: the What's New banner shows the v2.5.77 summary; Release History lists v2.5.77, v2.5.76, v2.5.67.

KickAlert v2.5.76 — Notes for the reviewer

WHAT CHANGED (since v2.5.75)
- UI only: confirmation dialog buttons in the popup no longer overflow in longer languages. css/popup.css drops the fixed 34px button height (min-height instead); src/popup.js measures whether a button label wraps when a confirmation dialog opens and, if so, stacks the two buttons full width.
- Release History text updated in 14 languages.
- No changes to background logic, content scripts, network requests or data handling.

PERMISSIONS
- No new permissions. No new host permissions. Data collection permissions unchanged (required: none, optional: technicalAndInteraction, as in v2.5.75).

DATA / PRIVACY
- No remote code. Unchanged from v2.5.75.

HOW TO TEST
1. Open the popup, Options → Additional features → Ad Blocking → enable: the confirmation dialog shows "I understand, enable it" and "Cancel" stacked, each on one line.
2. Switch the language to Turkish (Options → language): the two buttons sit side by side because both labels fit.

WHAT CHANGED (since the previously approved v2.5.67)
- Ad blocking (optional, off by default, unchanged opt-in with a confirmation dialog): the existing MAIN-world script src/adblock-worker-hook.js now also replaces playback_url.live in kick.com's own /api/v1/stream/<id>/playback JSON response with the ad-free address of the same channel returned by kick.com/api/v2/channels/<slug> (only if both URLs have the identical path; original response on any error or timeout). For past broadcasts the MediaTailor manifestUrl from Kick's vod_session response is replaced with the matching stream.kick.com origin URL after fetching it and confirming it starts with #EXTM3U.
- While ad blocking is on, a lightweight watcher fetches only the text media playlist of Kick's ad-carrying stream every 10 s (no media segments) to log ad breaks to the console. Diagnostics (marker names, counts, times) are kept in storage.local only (max 100 entries).
- New optional setting "Share ad diagnostics" (OFF by default). Only when the user turns it on, and only after Firefox grants the optional data collection permission "technicalAndInteraction" (declared as optional in browser_specific_settings.gecko.data_collection_permissions; required stays "none"), the background script (src/ad-diag.js) POSTs a cleaned technical summary to the developer's Google Apps Script web app (script.google.com/macros/s/.../exec): marker name, counts, first/last time, average ad break length, playlist tag lines with all values except a short safe list replaced, extension version, browser type, UI language. No channel names, URLs, tokens, cookies, account data or identifiers. Turning the setting off (or revoking the permission in about:addons) stops sending.
- Default channel notification mode: new installs start with channel notifications off (runtime.onInstalled reason "install" writes defaultChannelMode="muted"); updates keep the previous behaviour ("silent"). Options gained a default selector and "Apply to all channels" with Undo.
- Console log colouring, a developer test panel tab for diagnostics, 14 locale updates.

KickAlert v2.5.67 — Notes for the reviewer

WHAT CHANGED (since the previously approved v2.5.47)
- New optional per-channel alerts, all OFF by default: category/title change, stream ended (with duration), incoming raid (raider and viewer count), and a per-channel category/keyword filter. Configured in a small window opened from a button on each channel card.
- Separate, quieter sound for these channel event alerts (three bundled sounds in /sounds/event_*.mp3, generated for the extension; or silent). Firefox cannot request silent notifications, so the extension only chooses whether to play its own sound.
- Watch time: the content script on kick.com sends a 30-second "tick" to the background while a channel video is playing; totals are kept in storage.local only (35 days) and shown in the History tab. Can be turned off.
- Large preview on hover of an already loaded channel image (no extra request).
- One-time store review request for active users (shown at most twice, stored locally).
- Fixes: Cloud Sync (storage.sync) now also receives imported settings and keeps settings over the 8 KB per-item limit locally instead of overwriting them; stronger live-stream ad segment filtering in the existing worker hook; content script no longer throws after the extension is updated; layout/translation fixes in 14 languages.

A fresh new look:
• Redesigned popup: tab counters, cleaner cards, one consistent switch style in all settings
• New "System" theme that follows your computer's light or dark mode
• Fonts and icons are now bundled; the popup makes no requests to Google
• Repeated identical notifications are merged in History

Critical fix: if Cloud Sync was enabled, Chat tab settings could silently
revert to an old/empty state hours later with zero interaction. Root cause

What's new (data-integrity fixes):
• Fixed the Chat tab's Kick username field silently failing to save if you typed it and then closed the popup right away (including by clicking elsewhere)
• Fixed the same underlying issue elsewhere: favorite channels, per-channel sound mode, channel groups, the auto-open list, the chatroom/channel ID cache, bot scores, and notification history could all lose data if two changes happened close together (e.g. clicking two favorite stars quickly, or opening two Kick tabs at once) — this can no longer happen
