Knockoff collects no personal information. No accounts, no tracking, no
analytics. All brand detection runs locally in your browser; your settings
and allow/blocklists stay in browser storage.

The extension makes two kinds of network requests: (1) a roughly daily
download of an updated brand-name list from api.knockoff.shopping, which
includes no information about you or your browsing; (2) if you explicitly
click "report" on a badge, it sends the brand name, verdict, product ASIN,
marketplace domain, and extension version — no PII. Report handling: reports
are reviewed by hand to improve the brand lists; the reporting server stores
only a salted hash of the reporter's IP for rate limiting.
