Sobre esta extensión
Limited Media Tracker is a companion extension for the Limited Media Server platform - a self-hosted media server for streaming, downloading, and managing video content on your local network.
While you browse a streaming site, the extension silently captures every HTTP request in the background. You can then filter the list to focus on M3U8 playlists and VTT subtitle files, organise them into named groups (for example, one group per TV episode), and export the result to your clipboard in a compact format that Limited Media Server can import directly.
KEY FEATURES
• Real-time request capture — sees every request your browser makes, including requests from sub-frames and media elements that other tools miss
• Smart filtering — quickly isolate M3U8 streams, VTT subtitles, video files, audio, XHR, and more using the built-in type filter
• Episode groups — create groups manually (e.g. S01E01) or generate an entire season's worth in one step using the Generate dialog
• Folder organization — import folder metadata from Limited Media Server Site to keep groups organized by show or project
• Detailed request info — view URL, HTTP method, status code, Origin header, Referer header, origin URL, document URL, and frame context for every request
• Export to clipboard — one click exports all filled groups as compact base64 JSON or human-readable Markdown
• Exclusion filters — hide noise (ads, trackers, CDN scripts) by keyword so only the requests you care about appear in the list
• Persistent groups — groups and their assigned requests survive extension reloads, stored locally in your browser
• Context menu shortcuts — right-click anywhere to open the tracker window or clear the request log
This extension is designed to work alongside:
• LimitedMediaServer (Python backend) — github.com/mgatelabs/LimitedMediaServer
• LimitedMediaServerSite (Angular frontend) — github.com/mgatelabs/LimitedMediaServerSite
It can also be used as a general-purpose HTTP request inspector for any workflow that involves capturing and cataloguing URLs.

This is mostly a tool I built for myself, but if someone else wants to use it, it would be great.
