NozzleBuddy Convert is a browser extension that adds a Convert button to
supported 3D-model sites so you can send a sliced .3mf project file to the
NozzleBuddy web app for slicer-profile conversion.


When you click Convert on a supported site, the extension downloads the
.3mf file you selected, using your own logged-in browser session,
entirely inside your browser. It then hands that file to a NozzleBuddy web-app
tab (nozzlebuddy.com) through an in-browser transfer — the same result as if
you had downloaded the file yourself and dragged it onto the NozzleBuddy page.

The extension only acts on an explicit click. It never downloads or uploads
anything on its own.


None that leaves your device via the extension. Specifically:

• No accounts, analytics, tracking, or telemetry run in the extension.
• The extension does not send your data to NozzleBuddy's servers. A file
  reaches NozzleBuddy only if you proceed with a conversion on the web app —
  identical to uploading a file there yourself. That web app has its own
  Privacy Policy.
• The only data the extension stores is your local settings (which sites are
  enabled, the NozzleBuddy URL, and the reuse-tab preference), kept in your
  browser's extension storage on your device. It is never transmitted.

The extension requests access to the supported model sites (MakerWorld,
Printables, MakerOnline, Creality Cloud, Thingiverse, Nexprint) and their file
download hosts. These permissions are used only to display the Convert
button and to fetch the specific file you click — nothing else. The extension
reads no browsing history and touches no other sites.
