Sobre esta extensión

Control video playback at your own pace.

Presto gives you precise playback speed control for videos and audio across the web — not just YouTube.

Works across websites — Control playback on videos and audio players across the web.
Embedded player support — Works with videos embedded inside other websites.
On-video controls — Adjust playback speed directly from the video player.
Keyboard shortcuts — Increase or decrease playback speed without reaching for your mouse.
Persistent speed — Keeps your selected playback speed through ad breaks and video quality changes.
Lightweight — Designed to do one thing without unnecessary complexity.

Whether you're watching lectures, tutorials, courses, presentations, or just trying to get through a long video faster, Presto lets you control playback the way you want.

Developer comments

Presto collects nothing. No analytics, no telemetry, and no network requests of any kind, so nothing about what you watch, or where you watch it, ever leaves your browser.

Reaching a page is not the same as taking anything from it. The all-sites permission is only how the control finds the video on whatever page you have open; a speed controller limited to a fixed list of sites would not do its job.

The only thing stored is your own settings, and they stay in your browser profile.

You do not have to take my word for any of this. The whole extension is one short, unminified script under the MIT license: https://github.com/SUD747/presto
