How It Works:
When you click the extension icon, Quantum Shield inspects the current tab's connection security details locally, within your browser, to determine whether the website uses post-quantum-safe encryption. This check is performed on-device. No data about the website you're visiting, your browsing activity, or your identity is sent to RedRuby Technologies or any third party.

Permissions:
Quantum Shield requests only the browser permissions necessary to read the active tab's connection information for the purpose of performing this local check. These permissions are not used for tracking, analytics, or advertising.

Third Parties:
Quantum Shield does not integrate with, or send data to, any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Changes to This Policy:
If this policy changes in the future (for example, if a feature requiring data transmission is added), we will update this page and reflect the change in the extension's data collection disclosure on addons.mozilla.org.
