Sobre esta extensión
Your GitHub repo has seven secret identities. Repo Swap reveals them all.
Here's the problem:
you're staring at a GitHub repo, and you need to see it as a diagram. Or a wiki. Or a live dev environment. Or you want to check if those 12,000 stars are legit or just a one-day spike from a Hacker News drive-by. So you start copy-pasting URLs like some kind of URL janitor. Stop that.
Repo Swap is the one-button teleporter for GitHub repos.
Click the extension — it instantly beams the repo you're looking at into any of these seven views:
- GitIngest — Prep the repo for LLM-ready ingestion
- GitMCP — Turn it into an MCP server endpoint
- GitDiagram — See the codebase as a system diagram
- DeepWiki — Read the repo as an AI-generated wiki
- GitHub.gg — Navigate the repo in a chat-style interface
- StackBlitz — Launch it as a live, editable dev environment
- Star History — See the star growth chart over time (organic adoption or one weird spike? You'll know.)
How it works (it's delightfully simple):
Repo Swap swaps github.com in the URL for the tool's domain. That's it. One string substitution. Zero magic. Pure utility.
You can choose to open in a new tab or replace the repo you're on.
The catch:
You have to actually be on a GitHub repo page. If you're on Twitter or checking email, Repo Swap sits there grayed out, patiently waiting for your next GitHub repo visit. It won't let you click anything until you're on a GitHub repo page.
Why this exists:
Honestly? Most people don't know half these tools exist. I found them all in a single YouTube video and thought that someone should make it dead simple to jump between them. So Repo Swap is part utility, part discovery engine. Every time you open it, you might find a new way to look at a repo you hadn't considered before.
One Repo. Seven Windows Into It.
One click. Zero Copy-Paste.
I hope you find this extension useful, and have a blessed day.
