Det bedste må være at DeepL's API understøttes, som det bedste stykke oversætningssoftware til PC - indtil videre.

Vil dog være påpasselig, i og med, at udvidelsen ikke er bleven opdateret, indenfor de seneste 6 måneder, som minimum.

A single extension that accesses both google translate and DeepL sounded good. Unfortunately I tried to follow the instructions, signed up for a free DeepL account to get the authentication key, and there is no such key. It looks like DeepL withdrew free access to the API and developed their own Firefox extension here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/deepl-translate/

So this Simple Translate extension and documentation is badly out of date and no longer has the functionality it claims.

Excellent - finally I can get a translation of selected text shown as popup on the web page... And the whole page translation from the toolbar icon! The behaviour is similar to Google Translate app on Android *thumbs up*

If there's one request I would like is the option to show what language it auto-detected the text to be in, for example in the top right corner of translation box in slightly smaller italic font. Sometimes the tool is helpful in being able to translate comments and posts that I can't even identify the language of, and I'm left wondering :)

I think it would be a reasonable request, but this extension is awesome nevertheless.

Add-on works and is simple to use but I wish there was like a small pop-up or button to switch the output language. As a multi-lingual person, sometimes it's helpful to see translation of several languages to better understand the words.

On-page translation, no extra tabs need to open. Simple interface. Follows direction of selection.

Never worked. Only created a bar at the bottom of my phone screen. There is basically no settings for this add-on. I am looking for a working one immediately.
