works perfectly for my needs, without those suspicious permissions required for all the other volume control addons

Good idea but doesn't work on most tabs. Even after refreshing the page, the add-on doesn't apply to the page.

Worked sometimes but has given up the ghost and virtually mutes the sound now.

didn't work whatsoever. changing volume would permanently mute whatever I was trying to adjust.

Great to boost the volume of individual tabs

It is stupid that you can't set a default volume and amplification! Every single time I have to manually adjust it! Why?

Doesn't work at all

Most of the times works fine (sometimes it has no effect in the audio), I only use it to amplify volume in youtube.

The only thing that keeps this from being 5 star is that it causes playback speed, which I usually set at 1.25 or higher, to default to 1. Other than that it's the best I've found for listening to too low volume youtube broadcasts and the only one I've found that works well with hoopla.

Doesn't work for Instagram. Just disables audio completely regardless of what values are set. Seems to be Instagram-related rather than this add-on as there are others with the same effect. Still - it means there are scenarios where this add-on is not fit for purpose.

Did not work. Too many bugs.
