Suratea does not collect, store, or transmit any data to third parties.

All data (images, metadata, credentials) is sent exclusively to the user's own self-hosted Suratea server, configured by the user. No analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind is included.

The extension stores the following data locally in the browser:
- Server URL and authentication token (in browser storage)
- User preferences (default collection, right-click behavior)
- Temporary UI state (active tab, selections) in session storage, cleared when the browser closes

No data leaves the user's browser except to their own server.
