Summary:
- Authentication: email and JWT via Supabase (auth.swiftin.dev). Stored locally in browser.storage.
- Translation requests: text you translate is sent to api.swiftin.dev (our backend) for AI translation, or directly to translate.googleapis.com / edge.microsoft.com for free fallback engines. Not stored beyond the duration of the request unless you explicitly enable translation history in settings (off by default).
- Text-to-speech: speech synthesis runs locally via the operating system's voice engine (Web Speech API). No audio data leaves your device.
- Telemetry: error tracking via Sentry (optional, can be disabled in settings). No analytics, no tracking pixels.
- Data sharing: we do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties. Authentication tokens are used solely for accessing our backend.
