I went to my settings and was unable to change my start up page. I was sad because I like this extension, but that's a pretty big nope for me. I only wanted to change my new tab page.

After the March 26th update, however, the date/time now appear as "Invalid Date". Since there's no configuration for the date/time (other than display type), it's likely a new bug introduced in the latest build.
Other than that, it's great. Useful and informative.
2018-03-28: I ran the update function, and now "Invalid Date" has been replaced with (hold your breath here):
Invalid Date
{hour, plural, =0 {Sleep well} =1 {Sleep well} =2 {Sleep well} =3 {Rise and shine} =4 {Rise and shine} =5 {Rise and shine} =6 {Good morning} =7 {Good morning} =8 {Good morning} =9 {Good morning} =10 {Hello} =11 {Hello} =12 {Hello} =13 {Hello} =14 {Good afternoon} =15 {Good afternoon} =16 {Good afternoon} =17 {Good afternoon} =18 {Good evening} =19 {Good evening} =20 {Good evening} =21 {Good evening} =22 {Good night} =23 {Good night} }
Is there any changed permission or back end that a firewall might be affecting this?
Firefox Portable, 59.0.2 (64-bit)
2018-03-29: Hi, yes, I updated both Firefox and Tabliss before posting. Now, it's getting more interesting. As mentioned, it's a portable Firefox instance. When I run it at home, I now get the time properly. At work, I get "Invalid Date" again. That's why I'm wondering if there's some external dependency that may be being blocked.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 8 añosHi Bill, sorry about that issue. It has now been fixed! Everything should work correctly when Firefox downloads the patched version.
Edit: Did you update Tabliss? You can do this by going to Addons > Right clicking Tabliss > Clicking "Find Updates"
Edit2: There aren't any external dependencies, but the OS does provide the time through the browser. Have you manually selected a timezone or is it set to automatic? Please email me at support@tabliss.io, as this seems to be a new issue I haven't encountered yet. - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Jacques Paganel, hace 8 añosProblems with Firefox 59. Settings are erased each time Firefox shuts down.
- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Yan St-a, hace 8 añosNice add-on but looking forward to see features like:
- customizable widgets (size and position);
- advanced "quick links" (so they really look like speed dial and sync with those pinned in default home page/new tab)
- more preferences for weather widget (ability to change service provider e.g. Accuweather, Foreca etc.) - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13618086, hace 8 años

- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Raan Joseph, hace 8 añosI suggest two releases, one that overrides the homepage and one that does not, if that is possible. Otherwise I love this add on and await any further development that allows me to use it without overriding my homepage.

publicado el hace 8 añosHi! Sorry this is a Firefox restriction on web extensions. If this restriction is ever removed in the future, I'll add it in as a option :) - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Steven, hace 8 añosSimple yet elegant.
But the part that takes over your homepage is kinda inconvenience.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 8 añosHi! I have had a few comments from both sides of the homepage debate. Some people really like Tabliss showing when they first open Firefox, others have custom homepages and only want Tabliss showing on new tabs. If it was something I could give as an option/setting I would! But unfortunately Firefox only lets me do one or the other :(
At the moment I'm thinking I'll release the homepage override and instead provide instructions in Tabliss for a workaround for people who still want to use Tabliss as their homepage. - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13444207, hace 8 añosI really love the look of this extension, i just wish we could move the position of the widgets we place.

A suggestion would be to allow an option to disable overriding the homepage, i personally would only like this add-on to modify the newtab pages. So it only gets 4/5 from me.Respuesta del desarrollador
