I previously thought that Tabliss was causing Firefox to lose its startup preferences, but after lots of testing - it's NOT Tabliss. It's a weird FF issue. Tabliss is awesome! So, I'm definitely sticking with it!
Also, a side note, Joel at Tabliss was super fast to try and help me trouble shoot, even after we figured out that it's not the add-on that's causing the issue. So, kudos for awesome support and responsiveness.
You guys are awesome! - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13431703, hace 8 añosVery nice addon for a welcoming new tab page... however i have to give it 4 stars. The add-on forces itself as the homepage, and you have to disable the entire add-on to restore your homepage.
A suggestion would be to allow an option to disable overriding the homepage, i personally would only like this add-on to modify the newtab pages. So it only gets 4/5 from me.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 8 añosHi! I have had a few comments from both sides of the homepage debate. Some people really like Tabliss showing when they first open Firefox, others have custom homepages and only want Tabliss showing on new tabs. If it was something I could give as an option/setting I would! But unfortunately Firefox only lets me do one or the other :(
At the moment I'm thinking I'll release the homepage override and instead provide instructions in Tabliss for a workaround for people who still want to use Tabliss as their homepage. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13563298, hace 8 añosIt requires NO special permissions and does more than most other extensions. LOVE IT.
