Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where the sidebar would remain in the logged-out state after re-authenticating via the popup button following a session timeout. The sidebar now automatically reloads when a new login session is detected, restoring full functionality without requiring a manual browser restart or tab refresh.

New features

• Edit bookmarks from the sidebar — hover a bookmark to reveal an edit button. Opens a full edit modal with title, URL, description, and tags.
• Tag pill editor in sidebar — the modal's tag input matches the site and popup behavior: press comma or space to add a tag, backspace to remove the last one, click × to remove individual tags.
• Persistent sidebar state — expanded/collapsed tag folders and sections are remembered across browser sessions.
• Starred Bookmarks open by default — the starred section is now expanded on first load.

Bug fixes

• Fixed a horizontal scrollbar appearing in the popup caused by tooltip overflow (tooltips are now right-anchored).
• Modest popup padding increase without introducing scrollbars.

New Features

• Starred bookmarks and starred tags are now pinned to the top of the sidebar, separated from regular items by a divider. Starred bookmarks appear as a collapsible group, followed by starred tags — both highlighted with a gold star indicator.
• Clicking the "Tagsta.sh" heading in the sidebar now opens the live site at tagsta.sh

Improvements

• Updated extension icons to use the clean Tagsta.sh favicon (removes the previous text watermark from the icon)

Firefox Sidebar

The extension now includes a sidebar panel — open it from the View menu or the sidebar toggle to browse your Tagsta.sh library without leaving your current tab.

Tag Browser

All your tags are displayed as collapsible folders in the sidebar.
Click a tag to expand it and see the bookmarks inside, complete with favicons and clickable links.

Sort Options

Tags can be sorted by count (most-used first, the default) or alphabetically (A–Z) using the toggle in the sidebar header.

Design

The sidebar matches the Tagsta.sh dark theme — purple accent palette, Nunito font, and gradient header.

No Extra Sign-In Required

The sidebar uses your existing login session from the toolbar popup. If you're already signed in, it loads immediately.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed manifest validation errors (duplicate action key, non-square icons, missing icon files).
• Updated all user-visible labels from "Tagstash" to "Tagsta.sh".
