TOPSCINET: Top 2% Scientist por DATAMETA LAB

TOPSCINET adds a small badge next to a researcher's name on their Google Scholar profile page when that researcher appears in the global Top 2% Scientists rankings.

A solid badge means a single confident match. Hover it to see the researcher's institution and rank, then click through to their full TOPSCINET profile.

An outlined badge means several researchers in the rankings share that name. Clicking it opens a page listing every candidate, so you can pick the right one yourself rather than being sent to a guess.

HOW IT WORKS
The add-on downloads a small index file once and stores it in your browser. All name matching happens locally, on your own machine. Opening a Google Scholar profile sends no request to our servers and tells us nothing about who you are looking at. A request is made only when you choose to click or hover a badge.

PRIVACY
This add-on collects no personal data of any kind. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no account. The index it downloads contains only anonymous numeric fingerprints and a match count. It holds no names, no institutions and no rankings, so it cannot reveal who you searched for even to us.

SCOPE
Version 1.0.1 supports Google Scholar profile pages. Author search result pages are not covered yet.
