publicado el hace 6 añosWhen the extension starts up, it does some feature detection (for websockets, webrtc) and a connectivity test (to the bridge). If everything is passing, it should display the string, "Your Snowflake is ready to help users circumvent censorship" (or, the equivalent translation). That's currently the indication that it's working.
Note that, by design, there are many more snowflakes than users, so it may take a while before accepting a connection.

We're working on adding some checks to Snowflake so that it can detect when it is censored in a relevant way and can shut itself down to avoid poor user experiences.

- Se valoró con 5 de 5por nitrohorse, hace 7 añosI did notice an odd behavior: before installing I had WebRTC disabled ("media.peerconnection.enabled = false"). After installing the extension, I then set "media.peerconnection.enabled = true" but I also had to disable and then re-enable the extension from about:addons for Snowflake to detect that WebRTC was now enabled in my browser.
