Updated the extension with a cleaner, website-matched interface, redesigned dictionary tooltips, restored header icons, improved JLPT and part-of-speech styling, and clearer loading and rate-limit feedback. This release also adds TKGJE-first English dictionary entries with JMdict fallback, smoother viewport-based processing on long and dynamic pages, faster vocabulary rendering, stronger caching and request handling and additional security protections for exports, downloads, and dictionary interactions.

Added support for local html files which are opened in the browser.

It does not send or store any local file paths.

This update improves consistency across the UI and settings, especially around ruby color changes and styling.

There’s also a new “Remove custom styling” setting that turns off extension-applied furigana styling, so sites can display ruby text using their built-in/default formatting.
