tubeloops (tubeloops.com) is a free practice-loop tool for musicians: loop a section of any YouTube video, slow it down, and drill it.

This extension unlocks what the plain web app can't do:

Create a loop from YouTube — a button on every watch page opens the video straight in the tubeloops editor.

Real audio waveform — the timeline shows the actual audio as you listen, so you can set loop points against the music, not a blank bar. Note attacks are marked, and loop handles snap to them.

High-quality slow-down — pitch-preserved time-stretch that stays clean at half speed and below, far beyond the built-in player's algorithm.

Gapless looping — play your loop once and the seam becomes sample-accurate: no stutter at the jump back.

Tempo detection — see the song's BPM at a glance.

Privacy: no accounts, no tracking, no data collection. All audio processing happens inside your browser — nothing is recorded, stored remotely, or downloaded. The extension only runs on youtube.com and tubeloops.com.

The web app works without the extension; this makes it better.
