Great extension, though I've been experiencing playback issues since the past week. Videos just stop playing at around ~1 minute and I haven't found any fix for it. I tried deleting all cookies and clearing cache but the issue persists...

It's good but it also would be better with green/red likes/dislikes.

First of all, thank you for this extension! Everything else about it is absolutely amazing and working perfectly.

However, I found an issue: when trying to fast-forward or rewind a video using either the keyboard arrow keys or clicking directly on the timeline (cursor), the video playback breaks immediately and throws the error: "An error occurred, please try again later." Could you please look into fixing this?

only good stuff to say about this thing. It looks like old yt. I paired this with Clickbait Remover for Youtube by Pieter van Heijningen. As I said on the other review, they both make youtube feel a lot less damaging to my critical thinking abilities honestly. I feel more compelled to watch videos I actually like and less overwhelmed by the weird modern "sleek and ad-stuffed" design. Now if only this could spread to all websites lol. Highly recommend them both!

It works well, but it's missing compatibility with add-ons that customise the video playback progress bar.

Without genuine, user-definable customization options, this add-on is not the best choice for making specific layout modifications—beyond simply adapting to YouTube's new design. For instance, I might want six thumbnails instead of three on the homepage, but a larger player and smaller thumbnails on a video page.

Everything's tiny and the extention options won't open anymore.

I absolutely love this extension, Its faster and It has the old layout. Would love to give 5 stars but my main gripe is the lack of a like button. I don't know if its an error but it would not appear for the life of me and its very annoying and inconvenient. other than that this is a wonderful extension and hope it keeps getting updates.

I use this for the loading time, new YouTube is a lot slower, on my older laptop so this extension speeds it up a lot. Its also cool to see this youtube layout again. But holy, it loads instantly for me so if youre looking for responsiveness, it really does the job.

This add-on is pretty good! Tho there's issues with video playback (At least when disabling the GaiaBar for some reason.) I don't really care sense it makes YouTube quite a bit more usable on my old 10+ year old hardware and now it loads nearly instantly on my second generation Intel i5 CPU, and might also run well even on a Intel Core 2 duo tho I haven't tried that yet.

Been using it for like around 3 days as of writing this, and I absolutely love it!

EDIT 2: Nevermind, I guess it was another one of my extensions messing things up. I guess it's back at 5 out of 5 stars.

EDIT: Yea, been using it for about a week, and I've been experiencing a LOT of problems with video playback on YouTube with this extension, a lot of the time, it will play but then just not wanna continue playing anymore? The video player will just NOT wanna respond once like for example I change the video quality being one of the ways that can cause this. it's so bad in fact that I have to disable the extension entirely just to even watch the video without it breaking all of the sudden, for now I'll bring the star rating to 3 out of 5 sadly, but will bring it up to 5 out of 5 again once it's not as buggy anymore. Also just noting that I'm not trying to be rude by the way, I'd still LOVE to use the extension, but there are some issues with it that makes the experience a bit worse for me.

sometimes doesnt play the video and i have to either ctrl + f5 or click the progress bar, but still good nonetheless

Faster than actual YouTube.

my only issue is that most other addons for youtube arent compatible nor work , at least my nyan cat progress bar works so im not that upset
i know its mainly cus of the code n css n everything is different from the current youtube layout , but id love a solution if possible :3

love it! however sometimes it just wont let youtube load?
i'lll go to youtube and it'll load for a minute but then it'll just stay on a white screen? reloading and uninstalling then reinstalling the extension didnt work

for more personalization i recommend startube for tapermonkey (or others)

It's really cool but i can't loop videos. it dosen't bother me this much to give it a lower rating tho, it's still cool.
