X Bookmark Manager — Privacy Policy
X Bookmark Manager is a Firefox add-on that lets you save links to tweets and
organize them into your own categories. In short: the add-on collects no data,
and everything stays on your own device.
DATA COLLECTION
This add-on does not collect, transmit, or share any data. It declares
data_collection_permissions: { required: ["none"] } in its manifest, consistent
with Mozilla's data-consent requirements.
WHAT IS STORED LOCALLY
When you save a tweet, the following is stored only on your own device using
Firefox's storage.local API:
- The tweet's link (URL) you chose to save
- The category you assign to it
- The date and time you saved it
This data never leaves your browser and is never sent to the developer or any
third party.
WHAT THE ADD-ON DOES NOT DO
- No servers or network requests of its own
- No tracking, analytics, cookies, or third-party services
- No selling or sharing of data (nothing is collected to sell or share)
PERMISSIONS
- activeTab: reads the current tab's URL only when you click "Save current tab"
- storage: saves your bookmark list locally on your device
- contextMenus: adds the right-click "Save to X Bookmark Manager" menu on x.com / twitter.com
YOUR CONTROL
Remove any saved item from the popup, or export your full list to JSON for backup.
Removing the add-on deletes all of its stored data from your device.
