YouTube Shorts Сleaner does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data.

The extension only runs on YouTube pages matched in its manifest. Settings are stored locally in the browser using extension storage.

When the feature that replaces Shorts in search results is enabled, the extension may request public YouTube metadata for the corresponding YouTube video, such as title, thumbnail, author, view count, and publication date. These requests are made only to provide the extension’s core functionality and are sent without cookies or credentials.

No analytics, tracking, advertising, or remote code is used.
