This add-on does exactly what it says it does, but sometimes it fails to automatically resize the thumbnails. It works around 90% of the time.

Thanks for the add-on it works, problem is whenever i grab and resize my browser window the columns get messed up again and the thumbnails get big again, only after i refresh the page do the columns/thumbnails go back to the way i want them. i'm on desktop by the way.

EDIT: Two days after my initial review the developer has updated it and it works, 5stars! :)

Currently it does not work, once youtube is refreshed you have to manually change again and save. I thought it was because it was conflicting with other add-ons, but after deactivating everything it still doesn't work. A bit sad because it was exactly what I was looking for.

It kind of works.
Youtube changed my home page to show only 3 videos per row, and this addon fixes it. But I have to manually click the addon and change the settings everytime I open youtube.

The blurb says this is going to do exactly what I want done: More than 3 thumbnails per row on YouTube. Unfortunately, it does not work. The minute the YouTube page is refreshed, it goes back to 3 thumbnails. I'm deleting this extension.

This actually worked great for a while to counteract the terrible UI design YouTube has been implementing lately. However as of May 1, 2025 this extension no longer works for me. Not sure if it's due to a recent Firefox update or a recent YouTube update, but I'm back to the stupid 2 or 3 thumbnail across situation.

Update in response to developer response: Tried changing number of columns, refresh browser, quit and re-open browser and did not work. Another potential source of this add-on no longer working could be a problem with other extensions...

Thanks, works well! I like that you can choose how many video thumbnails (4, 5, 6, ...) you want to see per row. Well done!
