This used to be an excellent add-on that downloaded virtually all the videos I threw at it. It no longer downloads any videos. Believe it or not, even Video Download Helper is currently better than this waste of space.

The situation has reversed again in that yt-dlp now works and Video Download Helper doesn't. However, every now and then yt-dlp decides to download not only the video I selected but also everything else on that channel. How the heck do I stop that?

Awesome. The helper compiles into your ~/.mozilla directory and "just works".

Very convenient plugin, with help of this no need to have a separate script you need to download your file with yt-dlp. Customizable as well
