    broken as of this morning. crashes FF on open. disable and FF works fine.

    Ghostery (8.3.1) plante Firefox (65.0.2 - 32 bits) au démarrage sur mes 2 PC (Windows 7). Problème supprimé après désactivation

    Newest version of I believe Firefox causing immediate crashing upon opening the browser. As previous reviews have said, opening in safe mode and then disabling or removing the add-on solves the issue. Good app, but current bug makes it unusable at the moment.

    The old Ghostery was excellent; however it was removed and I was told that if I wanted to have a better one; to pay $2.00 and give-up all my personal information to Mozilla/Firefox. I thought about it for awhile and decided to look at their contract but it was nowhere to be found.

Ghostery does not track or store personal data.     inexplicable VERY high use of CPU, want to access "all your data", slows down the navigations, sometimes doesnt work, when uninstalling the average temperature of my CPU dropped about 30 degrees

    Causes SEVERE slowdowns and increases loading times on nearly all webpages. Does not perform well at all. Would not recommend to anyone. The moment I uninstalled the extension, Firefox was immediately faster and smoother. I'll go back to using other extensions. Avoid Ghostery.
    EDIT:
    I reached to Ghostery support. I'll update if they reply with a solution. For now I am still firmly under the impression that their add-no does not provide a faster experience. Yes, it blocks trackers and ads, but my experience was very slow and unusable.

    I have been a user of Ghostery for a number of years. I have now disabled it. The reason? I am alarmed by the request to "access all data" submitted to websites. Why does Ghostery need to capture my sensitive data such as passwords? Is Ghostery GDRP compliant or should there be a referral to the Information Comissioners Office.? Come on Ghostery spill the beans why do you want all this data.
